View Forum Post"I don't know how long you have been in business, but I think it takes time to build your reputation. I am honest, and forthcoming with my consults. I try to make a connection with them on a personal level, and listen, listen, listen!! I try to build a relationship, and a trust. I don't book every bride, but I just say to myself, we were not a good match and someone is looking out for me! I have changed the way I do my quotes, only a lump sum with a brief description of what we discussed. I don't breakdown every piece, this will help with them taking your ideas and designs and shopping around. Once they are in contract, I will give them a complete breakdown with the final contract. This will be my 4th year, and I am still learning!"
View Forum Post"I have been approached by a few of these importers recently. They say they ship direct from the farms in South America, Eucador, etc... I have never used them, and I am not sure about them. The pricing doesn't seem all that much cheaper. If anyone can give me some info on these that would be great! Since I am only a wedding and event designer, I don't know if this would be a good fit. Help?"
