Brass From the Past..I Mean, Blast from the Past!

We all have those old brass candelabras in storage - Now is the time to wipe it off and give it a new appearance and introduce it to the next generation. Here is an example of a recycled material (old brass candelabra) that was used as intended, but with a bit of color to brighten the event.Brass From the Past..I Mean, Blast From the Past! project by Mandy Majerik AIFD, PFCIIngredients:

  • Brass from the Past - Candelabra
  • Can of Design Master Color Tool Fuchsia
  • Black Taper Candles
  • 1/2 block of wet floral foam
  • Dozen Freedom Roses
  • One Pack of Pink Spray Roses
  • A few stems of Plum colored Wax Flower
  • Rose Petals to Scatter

Steps:

  1. Clean old candelabra of dust and debris
  2. Apply Approximately 3 Coats of Design Master Fuchsia until completely covered
  3. Secure wet floral foam into container
  4. Nestle florals in center of candelabra to desired design
  5. Insert taper candles - Light
  6. Scatter Rose petals on tabletop to enhance color
