It's PHOTO FRIDAY....Have a Very Merry Steampunk Christmas!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Christmas time!  The lights, the trees, the glitter, the music, the festivities...all the FUN that Christmas brings...I wish it were Christmas all year round!So, when I came across THIS amazing Christmas tree photo on Facebook...I couldn't help but share it with you guys!   It is a Steampunk theme tree decorated by "Day with J" winner, Steven Santos of Steven Santos Designs in Boise, ID.  He created this for a Festival of Trees contest and display in his local area.  Isn't this tree AMAZING?   Who would have thought Steampunk for the holidays?  Steven nailed this unique & BOLD design...his use of golds, coppers, moss green and chocolate brown form the base palette for the fun variety of steampunk accessories like....gears, clocks, and funky hats.  Check out the tree topper...it's a top hat!  More traditional items like ribbon, glass balls and permanent stems provide the perfect balance to make Steven's clever, steampunk tree a WINNER in my book!
