NEW uBloom Wedding Classes- Professional Mechanics!

Join J for an Intimate Professional Wedding Mechanics Hands On Class!

I’ve had many flower friends that have been asking me to host a Professional Wedding and Event Class that focuses on Mechanics! It took a bit of research… and I was really pleased to find out how much interest this project is getting!

I’m pleased to announce our First Professional Wedding Mechanics Boot Camp… A Professional Class for Florists, Wedding and Event Planners… that focuses on 4 Hot Trends and allows us to create a hands on format where students will be able to master these skills and perfect their flower arranging and designing talents.

These classes will focus on Mechanics and be completely hands on… working with beautiful flowers, the very best supplies and allowing participants to create 4 (or more) projects in a single day. This is Wedding Design Boot Camp… make no bones about it…

We know that you love to Design and we wanted to create a hands on experience that allows you to focus on the flowers… and the necessary mechanics to create beautiful things.

This Initial Class will focus on 4 Projects… and perfecting the techniques and mechanics…that go with these Professional Projects:

1. Chicken Wire- and creating a Centerpiece using Chicken Wire as a Mechanic!
(I spent 7 years working strictly with Chicken wire… and there’s tips, tricks and things you need to know… if you’re going to use this eco-friendly mechanic for weddings and events). We’ll also include Flower Frogs and other Eco-friendly mechanics… BONUS!

2. Wiring and Taping… these techniques are becoming a lost art… and I spent years tutoring under my Grandfather, Grandmother, Mother and Aunt… learning the necessary techniques, tips and process… we’ll use this to create a Flower Crown!

3. Gluing and Wire Manipulation… this Hot Trend just keeps growing… and we’ll explore tips, tricks and techniques and create some One-of-a-kind Flower Jewelry... (if you catch on fast… you’ll create several Flower Jewelry Creations!)

4. Composite Flowers- whether it’s Orchids, Roses, Gladiolus or Alstroemeria… I’ll show you how my Grandpa used to do it… and then show you modern tips, tricks and techniques that will allow you use Composite Flowers in Bouquets, Arrangements and Flowers to Wear…

This Inaugural Class will be held at Van’s Floral Products (Kennicott Brothers) in Grand Rapids Michigan… we’ll be holding these classes at Professional locations… so we have access to beautiful flowers and the best supplies… (YEP… We’re taking the classes on the road this fall… so we’ll be coming to a city near you!!!)…

Your Tuition includes All Flowers and Supplies… (YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN TOOLS)… and Lunch is included… we’ll gather… WORK… Learn… Laugh… and you’ll take home 4 Arrangement that you create yourself… it’s a day designed for you to LEARN, Experience, and Create… this isn’t lectures, froo-froo or one off demos… You’ll be making, learning and creating…
