Coloring Contest- With Flowers? Of Course!!!

The Flower Stand- By J SchwankeAn Inviting Collections of Crayons... A White Paper Table cover.... I love restaurants that offer that creative setting...And today Coloring has become a form of relaxation... with color book offerings at many booksellers... (I notice that so many titles involve flowers)... I love to color... there's something about the ability for color choices...I like the way you can layer colors over one another... (and did you know that a color will burn for about 3 hours... for those who might find themselves in a situation without candles... or need a quick impromptu birthday cake substitute)...I also like the way they smell... and like peeling the paper off the crayon too... to expose more coloring surface... It's all good!In fact... my preschool teacher- Dorothy Swanson used to hand out blank sheets of paper for "Coloring Time"... and we could draw whatever we wanted... she was amazing...She would often tell the story of when I drew a picture of a cow... and she asked why it only had one eye... and I frankly stated that the other eye was on the other side of the cow so you couldn't see it... she got the biggest kick out of that...I suppose that's why I love the blank table paper... and a cup of crayons so much... it gives me the opportunity to (relax) and be creative... and nine times out of 10... I will draw flowers... of course! This selection of crayons truly was the inspiration for these roses... my creative interpretation of "Milva" roses ... I love how those roses have tones of yellow, pink and orange in them... and blending the crayon colors starts to give that impression...So how about a color contest... Send me your picture of Flowers- drawn in crayon... via email... j@ubloom.com and include your address...I'll choose my favorite and send that lucky winner BOTH of my Books...
