Cellophane or Paper Towel for Aging with Paint

This Week’s Mechanic is choosing the right tool for aging the surfaces of a container. I’m working with a wooden crate and metal cylinder and applying überMatte MIST to give these containers an aged patina surface. Choosing to apply the MIST with a paper towel or cellophane will give different results. Choosing the right applicator will give you more texture, more or less paint and subtle or dramatic effects. It’s always fun to work with Design Master Color Tools…and this week’s mechanic will show you what to expect when you use Cellophane or Paper Towels to apply the effect.
