This week’s project was inspired by one of the World Class Window Displays in the Dallas Market Center…featuring gold urns filled with Giant Gold Banana leaves!
The project is created in Prestige Urn from Accent Décor. It features Bamboo and Aspidistra leaves from FernTrust that have been gilded with 24kt Gold Paint from Design Master
Our visit to Donkey Taqueria in Grand Rapids- was fun for me- and the “Life in Bloom” Crew. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids Michigan- my home town! It started very flowery- when Brad took us to their Garden- it’s pretty cool- because our friends Paul and Jess Lee- own
Today’s project has the Midas touch…I call it the 14k Gold Centerpiece. I create this centerpiece in a Gold Metal Footed Compote from Accent Décor. The foliage is part of the ColorFresh line from FernTrust…Gold Plated Aspidistra leaves looped and added to our foam base.
All the flowers in today’s centerpiece are gold or yellow
The Marigold Agave Cocktail- served at Donkey Taqueria – this craft cocktail was created during J’s visit to Donkey Taqueria in the Succulents- Not Quite Flower Episode of J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom. Both Succulents and Marigold flowers partner to create the unique flower inspired deliciousness in this hand crafted flower cocktail!
