Calla-fornia Callas... growing by the Ocean!

This week on Fun with Flowers and J; I create a Cascade Bouquet of CA Grown Calla Lilies from Callaco! We had the opportunity to visit CallaCo in the first series of the CA Grown Experience. It was amazing to see all the Callas growing in the fields.CallaCo realizes that Calla Lilies are Mediterranean flowers and thus LOVE the Micro Climates that the State of California provides! This also means that the gorgeous Callas you receive from CallaCo are grown literally STEPS from the Pacific Ocean!When we were filming the CA Grown Experience with the JTV Crew... we could see and hear the ocean... That was a HUGE Temptation!CallaCo took us to THREE different Fields... each with it's own Micro-climate and literally within Miles of each other! The hills outside of Watsonville provide the perfect climate for the Colorful Calla Lilies... it was breathtaking to end our day... watching the sunset... on those Colorful Fields!CallaCo recently launched a NEW Website... that shares the Story of their Wonderful California Callas...
