Catersource Show In Las Vegas!

My Friends at Acolyte asked me to Join them again for the Catersource Show in Las Vegas. It’s always a treat to spend time with Masa and Christy and I enjoy the CaterSource show for so many reasons...It’s a unique show… dedicated to the Food Service Industry originally but now more broad scope with an emphasis on Special Event... and that means FLOWERS... and Flower Suppliers too...I heard about the Food…TONS of it… tastings around every corner…. and David Tutera and Preston Bailey headlining… and the Who's Who of the Flower Industry... Rene VanRems, Mandy Majerik, JRM Deco Beads, Mayesh, and of course...yours Truly!A Trend that continues to STAND OUT…  the GREEN MOVEMENT… so many booths dedicated to GREEN Initiatives. Sustainable Bamboo Utensils and Flatware, Recycled Event Ware, Lower Carbon Footprint initiatives... EVERYWHERE!Event Companies promoted RENTING Dishes rather than disposable. AT Acolyte we promoted our Reusable LED lighting… Battery operated OR AC adaptable Illumination... Spotlights and wall washers… Plus the NEW Remote Control POINT & PARTY Systems... It was Very Exciting and Educational!I created TWO tabletops... One as a Head Table (all White) and another Buffet Options with the RGB Color Changing Effects...I was giving Demonstrations... of the NEW Acolyte Products featuring CA Grown Flowers, Esprit Miami Premium Callas, Roses and Florida Foliage from FernTrust...  we had Show Stopping Style in the Las Vegas Convention Center!Tangerine Tango... HOT HOT HOT...  Succulents... Warming up... Mayesh was showing them off... NEW Giant Deco Balls... GO JRM!!! Diamond Mesh from Accent Decor... and "Design" coming back to Flower Design... Excitement in the AIR in Las Vegas!
