Call a Local Florist... Not a Corporation!
A wonderful friend of mine just celebrated her birthday... Her Mom sent her an arrangement of Calla Lilies... she called Popular Wire Service Corporation... and placed her order....The Flowers were sent in a box...(not an arrangement) from a fulfillment house in Georgia to Michigan... and arrived a day late... you see the results above...Many Flower Customers believe their flower order will be filled by a local florist... or even delivered from the Flower Shop down the street... but it's common place to have a bunch of flowers shipped in to the recipient... allowing them the "JOY" of opening the box and arranging the flowers themselves...My friend... "arranged the flowers" neatly in her trash can... but not without sending me a photo first! I appreciate that she wanted me to see... she even titled the Picture!"_ _ _ 's finest delivery ever!"So... what did we learn?1. Call the Local Florist... FIND them on Google Maps... Verify they are a Local Florist!These steps are important... because many corporations POSE as "Local Flower Shops" and even list themselves deceptively on the web as a local florist when they are hundreds... even thousands of miles away! (we call them "Order Gatherers")... They gather the order... take a percentage of your money and pass the order on... WRONG!2. Visit or Call Your Local Florist... and ask them to help you send the BEST quality Flowers to your Friend or Loved One...through another LOCAL Florist...3. Plan ahead... Call your Friend or Loved one... and ask them what FLORIST they Use, Prefer and Love... and make a note of it... or better yet... contact that Local Florist and set up an account for future flower deliveries...Local Florists are your Neighbors... they are Flower Loving Friends... that provide Service... (they call, package and insure delivery on Time and when someone is home)...They provide the BEST Quality Flowers... arranged artistically and with quality supplies and knowledge...(the Flowers don't arrive in a box for the recipient to arrange... Unless you Ask for that!)Today's flower buyer expects beautiful quality, great service and personal attention...You're insured that... ONLY... and ONLY when you contact a Local Florist...
