Flower Power Wedding- 70s Throwback!
One of the Very First Weddings I helped create flowers for...was for my Cousin Richard... and his wife Nancy...they got married in her parents garden... and their dog was an attendant at the wedding... he had a collar of flowers... that don't seem to be visible in this picture...I also remember him digging up the garden... soil flying during the ceremony...I love Nancy's crochet dress... complete with flowers...I "serviced" the Wedding with my Grand Parents...that's a term we use in the flower industry... when you are the florist- and you pin on boutonnieres and corsages, and make sure everything goes well...it was also the First Time I had ever seen attendant flowers for a Dog too... so the concept of including a favorite pet in your wedding has been popular for a long time... this wedding was back in the 70s...
