Remember when you were a kid… and there were lots and lots
of dandelions in the yard…

We had a big yard and at the end of summer… there were lots and
lots of dandelions…

Did you ever pick some Dandelions…
and put those Dandelions in a Vase for your Mom?

I did… and even though my Mom was a florist she would be excited about
the dandelions I picked for her…  I think she was excited because she
could see me enjoying arranging flowers…

Mom would set them on the kitchen table and they would be the centerpiece,
even if it was just for a few days… or hours…

I remember it was my Grandpa Carnation Joe that taught me how to make
necklaces and bracelets from the stems. He showed me how, once they were cut that one end of the stem would fit into the other end and how you could make
“flower jewelry” with them…

That Was FUN!!! …. and those dandelions meant so much to your Mom…

I found this cool picture of dandelions in a vase and it reminded me of those days…
