Flower Curiosites!

Flowers are always beautiful... but at times they can be curious as well...think about Pin Cushion Protea... or Birds of Paradise... these flowers are unusual in shape, form and texture... What about "Brain Celosia"... or Green Trick Dianthus... WOW.. these flowers look as if they stepped right out of a circus sideshow... I won't even mention "Bishops Balls" or "Cobra lilies"...there's a huge cabinet of curiosities - especially when it comes to flowers!I had the opportunity to give a presentation for our friends at Florist Supply Ltd... and I selected these four matching lidded containers...I loved the copper accents of the lids... so I placed some river rocks in the bottom of the containers to conceal a flower frog...It allowed me to place 4 Interesting... (think UNUSUAL) Varieties...into each of the chambers...Brain Celosia-EryngiumA Echinacea Pod- accented with a Monstera Leafand Brunea Foliage...It makes for a Set of FLOWER Curiosities..... think of how much fun it would be to set this for a party... it's certainly a conversation starter...
