The Marigold Agave Cocktail- served at Donkey Taqueria – this craft cocktail was created during J’s visit to Donkey in the Succulents- Not Quite Flower Episode!
Marigold Infused Tequilla
To infuse Tequilla- place 6-8 Marigold flower heads inside cheesecloth and secure with string or rubber band-place into a closable container of room temperature Tequilla for 4-7 days- remove bag of flowers and discard. Seal Tequilla or place back into bottle.
Prepare in a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice
1 1/2 oz of Marigold Infused Tequila
1 1/2 oz of Agua Fresca
1 oz of Apertif Wine
1/2 oz of Peach Liqueur
Shake over ice and strain into a coupe glass
Garnish wiht a lime wheel and Marigold blossom- and squeeze with a lime.
