Today’s Mechanic is an exception to what we normally do…It’s about perfect Freesia processing! You know how the largest Freesia Bloom will sometimes die right away? This is caused by a surge of Ethylene that is driven up the stem when you cut the freesia.
For perfect flowers that open dramatically from one end to the other, you use this trick. Don’t cut the stems when processing! Simply take Freesia out of the box and place in Chrysal Bulb Food Nutrient…and the freesia will open perfectly. This only works with FREESIA and no other flower! It’s simple and counter-intuitive but give it a try for amazing results!
