Foam Sphere and Manzanita Branch

This week’s mechanic is using a sphere of foam to get a round shape to your arrangement. This is simple geometry, yet often overlooked. Using a round piece of flower foam will more easily result in a round bouquet...Additionally, I add a Manzanita Accent to this week’s arrangement from Schusters of Texas. The branch is added to the arrangement before I start, in order to keep it nestled neatly into the centerpiece. I use pipe cleaners (AKA Chenille stems) to keep the branch in place…another great mechanic that is easy, affordable and effective.
