Behind the Bloom: Crane Dance Farm

It’s time to go behind the bloom…with our friends Jill and Mary at Crane Dance Farm. I love the opportunity to show you what goes on behind the scenes. This footage would have been “on the cutting room floor” as they say… because we film a lot- and visiting Crane Dance Farm with Jill and Mary had so many fun moments... we had to make a "Behind the Bloom" with the Girls from Crane Dance Farm!

Behind the Bloom gives us the opportunity to share some special moments that don’t make it into “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom”. This week, Jill and Mary introduce me to Suzi-Q, the lead cow at Crane Dance Farm and we get to meet her up close and personal! The animals had to be on the most fun parts of our visit to Crane Dance Farm... there were sheep, cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, geese, bees and even a wonderful little Duck! It's certainly all about the Animals - when it comes to sustainable farming- and Jill and Mary are the Queens!

I talk about Rose Hybridization and you’ll learn a little more about how my career took a turn from Zoo Keeper to Flower Expert…thanks to my High School Guidance counselor, Jan Therien. It's crazy the conversations you get into... out in the pasture at Crane Dance Farm- and after all- Behind the Bloom- allows you the opportunity to NOT MISS those conversations!

There’s always fun Behind the Bloom…so join us for a walk and talk in the pastures of Crane Dance Farm with Jill and Mary!
