Jamie Wilbraham and Bradley Smith- Full Hollow FarmYou see from this very first picture- the Wonderful Spirit of Jamie Wilbraham- (and Bradley Smith) - I met these two amazing Friends- at the West Michigan Home and Garden Show many years ago. Jamie's Dad- Mike runs Show Span- the group that hosts the shows... and as you can see- they were both "Rays of Sunshine"... I love this picture of Jamie when I shared the Flower Crowns with her and Bradley at Full Hollow Farm.Jamie is excited about her Flower Crown- during my visit to Full Hollow Farm!Full Hollow Farm is a certified Organic Farm- You can learn more about this Local Michigan Farm- on their website- https://www.fullhollowfarm.com/ - Fullow Hollow Farm is located in Belding Michigan- and it's just as picturesque as you image- you can see full well- in this next picture! It's calming- serene - and everything you imagine an Organic Farm to be... It's Peaceful- and Genuine- Just like Jamie and Bradley.Join J as he visits Full Hollow Farm and his Friends Jamie and Bradley!Full Hollow Farm- is a Community Sponsored Agriculture participant- You can learn more- or better yet- participate in their CSA Program at this link- https://www.fullhollowfarm.com/csaHere's how it works- Participants pay an annual fee- to become part of the CSA program... you can choose from a Full or Half Share- depending on your needs or family size... each week- you get a portion of the Harvest from Full Hollow Farm- this is based on availability - and you get the BEST of the BEST- you also share in their success... when there is a Bumper crop of Tomatoes- you get more- it's a way to actively support- and benefit from a partnership with your local farmers!Certified Organic Mini Tomatoes at Full Hollow Farm- The Tomatoes are one of my favorite items at the Full Hollow Farmers Market Stand!Let's talk Tomatoes for a second- I LOVE Tomatoes- and I LOVE the Tomatoes that my friends Jamie and Bradley grow- I get Tomatoes every week- (Kel and I travel a lot so I'm not a good candidate for CSA- rather- we go the Farmers Market each week we're home to get fresh Organic Produce from Full Hollow- more about that later)... I love the Little Mini Tomatoes- I have them on a plate in the kitchen so I can grab a few for a snack - I get their Heirloom Tomatoes- to make BLT Sandwiches- (and my favorite Summer Treat- just a Tomato Sandwich with mayo... YMMMMM). I also love Capresé Salad- I slice these Full Hollow Beauties up with Fresh Burrata - Blue African Basil- EVO- and Balsamic Vinegar... it's a staple at the "Life in Bloom" House... this week- I'm make Brushetta- with Fresh Parm- EVO and Basil- to put on Asiago Toast... Stop- I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!I love Tomatoes- and I love them even more - when they are grown by Local Farmers- and when they are your friends it's even BETTER!!!!!Let's talk about the Full Hollow Farm Stand at the Local Farmers Market- Kel and I go to the Farmers Market every week- (when we're in town) so we go 52 weeks a year... and we LOVE going to the Full Hollow Stand- not only because it's amazing Organic Produce- but also because it's SET UP so Beautifully- it's just a treat... to see all the beautiful produce - displayed so beautifully. Jaime and Bradley took the arrangement I made on the farm- to the Farmers Market as a decoration the week after we filmed there... it was a hit too... but their Stand NEVER needs any help it's always beautiful!Full Hollow Farm- My Friends Jamie Wilbraham and Bradley Smith!A few weeks ago- we got Watermelon and Cantaloupe from Full Hollow- to try out in our Sangria Recipe for an upcoming episode in Season 4- it was fabulous- but you'll have to stay tuned to "Life in Bloom" for that recipe... it's delightful! I love the way there is always something NEW to try! Because they have the hoop houses and greenhouse at Full Hollow Farm - even in the dead of winter- we have root vegetables, garlic, onions, and micro greens- what a treat when the snow is flying- and the air is frigid to have fresh organic Veggies on the table... that's what Full Hollow is all about!Bradley Smith harvests Tomatoes at Full Hollow Farm- a Community Supported Agriculture Program in Grand Rapids MichiganThe produce at Full Hollow Farm is not only delicious it' also beautiful and picturesque- You can follow Jamie and Bradley on Instagram- (Here's a link - https://www.instagram.com/fullhollowfarm/ ) to see what's going on- and see them in action. That's a wonderful thing about social media- and staying connected- especially to our farmers- knowing where our food is grown- and how it's grown is becoming even more important everyday. I never have any doubts when it comes to the Produce I get from Full Hollow Farm- it's grown Organically, Sustainably- and with Lots and Lots of LOVE!Some of the Beautiful Vegetables from Full Hollow- waiting to be arranged- with a few flowers- what a treat!Obviously- I couldn't resist creating an arrangement from some of the excess produce at Full Hollow- Jamie and Bradley allowed me to dive into last week's remaining produce to create an arrangement- I stacked the different pieces of vegetables into a basket and added flowers in between. It's amazing how beautiful and decorative vegetables can be...Arranging right on the back of the bed of the flatbed they pull with the tractor is just another AMAZING place that I have add the opportunity to arrange flowers... and this one - was right here in Michigan- with my friends... it was truly LOCAL! You can watch me create the arrangement in this episode #213- Vegetables and Flowers - right now!Jamie Wilbraham harvests produce from the Greenhouse Tomatoes at Full Hollow Farm!Farming is hard work- but at the same time it's rewarding. Full Hollow Farm is dedicated to providing local organic produce to their neighbors and surrounding communities. It's all about communication, and information... I love visiting the Full Hollow Website- to keep up with all the great things they have going on... including their Recipe Blog- that shares great recipes too... That's a full service farm - don't you agree? It's the place I found my first recipe for Basil Pesto- I've enhanced it a little bit- and it will be appearing in Season 4 of "Life in Bloom"... I've made lots and lots this year... and I use it on my Home-made Pizzas... I can't wait to share the recipe! We had one of the best reactions about the Flower Crowns- from our Friends at Full Hollow Farm- Jamie and Bradley!I Love making the flower crowns for our guests- and it was so much FUN sharing the Flower Crowns with my friends Jamie and Brad- at Full Hollow Farm... I'm so glad that we got to visit- and there was lots more fun that you didn't get to see on the show... that's why we create our "BEHIND THE BLOOM" Episodes- stay tuned for the Behind the Bloom with Full Hollow - coming soon...
