Pussy Willow Vase!

Today’s At Home with Flowers project is a wonderful Pussy Willow Vase, inspired by my friend Judith Blacklock and Flora Magazine- from the UK. I was looking for something to do with my bountiful harvest of Pussy Willow Branches that come on every year in the garden. Pussy Willow love to be pruned which yields more Pussy Willows for the coming year. This project is perfect and it can do double duty…as a wonderful natural artistic sculpture and also as an armature for fresh flowers, for the vase concealed inside. 

I’ll show you how it’s done and then we’ll fill the vase with a 10 stem bunch of Yellow Asiatic Lilies from my friends at Holland America Flowers (they are the Closed Caption Funder for my Public Television Show- “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom”).
