Today we’re visiting a 100 Year Old Flower Farm- Peterkort Roses in Hillsboro Oregon. I had this very special opportunity to visit Sandra Laubenthal and her brother Norman Peterkort- 3rd Generation Flower Farmers- and what I call “Flower Lifers”- those are very special people that have lived their entire lives in the flower industry- and grew up surrounded by Flowers.
Peterkort Roses grows and incredibly diverse and unique flowers, and sometimes- heirloom flower varieties seen nowhere else in the world. This was one of the most treasured days of my life- speaking with Norman- touring with Sandra and arranging with their locally grown American Flowers!
