Color Pairings With Florigene Suntory Flowers- Complimentary Colors!
J creates Complimentary Pairings with the Carnations, Roses and Chrysanthemum Varietals from Florigene and Suntory Flowers this week on Fun with Flowers and J- on uBloom!
The Reception to Florigene and Suntory Flowers- Mooncarnations® and Miniature Carnations, Blue Rose Applause® - and BluOcean® Chrysanthemums has been incredible… These Beautiful Flowers in tones of Purple and Blue- have set the Flower World on Fire! Part of the reason is the Natural Color of these Flower Varieties- that are garnered from the Garden Flower World… and ‘transplanted’ (if you will) into Cut Flowers- that are Dynamic, Long Lasting and Show Stopping! The genes from garden plants- like Petunias provide the coloration that has been ‘transplanted’ into these varieties of Carnations, Miniature Carnations, Roses and Chrysanthemums. The other astounding fact- is that when this gene-swapping is done- they remove the genes that are botrytis sensitive and thus- these NEW Flower Varieties are extremely long lasting… I personally have had the Carnations for 21 days or more- the Roses for more than 14 days- and the Chrysanthemums for over a month… so I speak from Experience!

The Second Arrangement pairs the BluOcean® Chrysanthemum Varieties Sapphire™ and Jade™- (Jade™ is my all-time favorite in the BluOcean® Chrysanthemums From Suntory Flowers they are incredibly long lasting- and I love the way the blooms get a lighter center as they age- and they become even more Navy Blue in Coloration… they are Amazing! ) … with Orange Zinnias, Tiger Lilies, Orange Snapdragons- and Hypericu… and other orange and peach foliage like Japanese Maple- and Burning Bush… ooo lala !
