As you may know... I'm rather fascinated by Antiques... perhaps antiques are not quite the right term... "Vintage memorabilia" is a better word...I love going to Antique Stores, Curiosity Shops, Antique fairs, that sort of thing... and typically I'm looking for "Flower Related" things... Imagine that! heheheI have special haunts that provide (sometimes) hours of browsing... and it's best when Kelly is along and we can laugh and visit and be surprised about what we find... Sometimes, it's as much about the time together- reminiscing than it is about the things we find...As we get older... our collections have become more defined and focused... some collections are complete and now again we find something that starts a new one...Now... back to the plaque... it hangs in the uBloom Office or as we refer to it..."uBloom Worldwide HQ" (we even have a facebook page... )...I love the plaque and am delighted it matches the office and that it has tomatoes on it...the saying... Well...Wiser Words were never Spoken...I heard this the first time from Frankie Shelton AAF, AIFD, PFCI... I think it was during one of her Commentating Classes... she gave amazing classes and I owe a great deal of my speaking expertise to the QUEEN of Commentating.. Frankie!I found this plaque in an antique Store in Austin Tx...Uncommon Objects- it's an amazing store... and many of the displays are color coordinated... that takes some passion for sure too... it's worth the visit...After seeing the plaque... I had to have it... But there was a BONUS... an additional quote on the back...
That's a pretty good quote too... so every once in a while... I turn the plaque around... so that quote is visible too...This was good advice then... and it's good advice from Frankie... and it's good advice today!!
