Binding Bunches

This week’s mechanic is Binding Bunches. This technique allows us to pre-bind bunches of flower stems together and then place them into an arrangement as a single placement. It helps us define each bunch and adds texture and interest to a large sized arrangement. This week’s project is arranged in water with no other mechanic…just the binding bunches technique. The resulting Colossal Arrangement is incredible, featuring over 20 different types of flowers and foliage…each added to the arrangement as one bundle!I use the Craft Covered Bind Wire…a wire that’s covered neatly with craft paper. It’s pliable and very gentle to the delicate stems of flowers and is the perfect tool for this technique!
