This Instant Cheesecake Recipe is easy- and adding a subtle Lavender flavor is not only delicious- it creates an eye-catching presentation.
Ingredients: Instant Cheesecake Boxed Recipe Lavender Extract- I prefer the Lavender Floral Elixir- you can order it here! Lavender Maple Syrup- I get a Michigan-made Syrup from my local specialty grocer! Purple Food Coloring- I found it on-line Topping: Sour Cream Powdered Sugar Lavender Maple Syrup (Again) Vanilla extract- I prefer an Organic Madagascar Vanilla with Bourbon extract… just sayin’
Recipe: Use an Instant Cheesecake Boxed Recipe- Follow the directions- and add the following to enhance it… 1/2 Tsp Lavender Floral Elixir 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons- Lavender Maple Syrup Purple Food Coloring- to desired color- (it takes more than you think… to get a good vibrant color) Place into refrigerator and allow to cool and set up… Topping for cheesecake recipe- combine the following into a medium bowl… 1 cup Sour Cream (I always use organic Sour Cream) 2 Tablespoons Organic Powdered Sugar 1 Tablespoon Lavender Maple Syrup 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla extract… Once combined- spread on top of the Cheesecake- leave an edge of the Lavender Cheesecake exposed – to be pretty!
