You can create your own hummus- use your favorite recipe- or if you’re like me… I have a favorite vendor that offers Organic hummus- already done and ready… so I used that!

Either way you go about it… Hummus is the starting point- and then we simply stir in different concoctions – to turn the hummus your favorite color…

We’ll create each colorful concoction- in a food processor or bullet blender- simply add the ingredients- and puree- and then mix into your favorite hummus recipe.

Make it PINK:  Roast 2 Medium beets- peeled and chopped- 1/4 cup of Olive Oil , 2 Tablespoons of Balsamic Vinegar…
Blend/Puree and add to your Hummus…

Make it YELLOW: 2 Medium Carrots grated- 1/2 cup of Olive Oil- 2 Tablespoons of Orange Juice and 2 Teaspoons Turmeric…
Blend/Puree and add to your hummus

Make it GREEN: 2 cups of Fresh or Frozen Peas, a few stems of Fresh Dill, 1 Large leaf of fresh Chard, 1/4 cup of Olive Oil, and 2 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice…
Blend/Puree and add to your hummus

Make it ORANGE: 2 Roasted Red Peppers, 1/2 cup of Olive Oil, 1 Tablespoon Paprika…
Blend/Puree and add to your hummus

It’s simple… and it’s a fun way to add a little color to your next dinner part or event…
