Arranging Anthurium at the Magoon Research Station!

Invited by my Amazing Flower Friend Tessie Amoré PhD- to the Magoon Research Station at the University of Hawaii- in Honolulu- I arrange Anthurium hybridized at the Magoon- and supplied by our Friends at Green Point Nurseries!

In May of 2024 the crew and I visited Hawaii- for many episodes for “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom” that will air in both Season 7 and Season 8 in 2025 and 2026! There are 2 episodes in Season 7 about the Hawaiian Tradition of Lei- and we visit the Lei Day Celebration (Watch the Preview of Season 7 Here!) on May 1 in Queen Kapi’olani Park in Honolulu- For Season 8- we will be learning so much more about the Flowers of Hawaii- and The Aloha Spirit- that was embodied by Everyone we met during our visit.
One of those Special Souls- that is both a Star of Hawaii Flowers- and also an Incredible Proponent of the Aloha Spirit is my Flower Friend Tessie Amoré Phd- from the Magoon Research Station at the University of Hawaii- in Honolulu! You’re going to learn a whole lot more about Dr. Tessie- in the weeks, months and Seasons to Come… I also feature the 2 Anthurium she hybridized in honor of Phil and Cathy Rulloda - in the Season Premiere of J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom- “Flower Icon”…
