My Flower Friend Chef Jenna - from Amoré Trattoria in Grand Rapids- shared her recipe for Easy Pasta Sauce - simplified with Garden Fresh Ingredients… it’s a Chef Jenna - signature sauce!

INGREDIENTS: PREPARE WITH:
1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes pasta of your choice
3 Tbsp butter
olive oil GARNISH:
2 cloves garlic edible Flowers
1/2 cup vodka
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
Drizzle olive oil in pan to coat surface and heat on medium. Add butter and
crushed garlic and saute 2-3 minutes. Add vodka and carefully flame. After flame
goes out add crushed tomatoes and stir, heat briefly. Add heavy cream and stir,
heat through. Take off heat and add Parmesan and stir. Sauce is ready to use
with any cooked pasta. Enjoy! Remember to garnish with edible flowers.
J’s NOTES:
Chef Jenna has made this sauce in front of me a couple of times, and it’s now my
go to sauce at home. Add herbs such as basil or oregano, as the mood strikes.
