One of my Favorite Recipes from our Friends in Canada- Poutine! Ymmmmmm!

Poutine

INGREDIENTS:

5-6 potatoes sliced into strips

peanut oil

salt to taste

herbes de Provence

brown gravy

fresh cheese curds

INSTRUCTIONS:

Slice potatoes into thick cut French fries. Rinse sliced potatoes several times in

cold water to excess remove starch. Dry potatoes with a paper towel. Toss potatoes

in peanut oil with herbes de Provence. Bake at 425˚ for 45-55 minutes. Salt

if desired immediately after removing from oven. Place a serving in a bowl. Top

with fresh cheese curds, then hot gravy, Enjoy!

the north - Canada! My baked French fry recipe was shared by Jacques Pepin

(”If you don’t like them, blame Claudine.”). This comfort food will garner new

friends when shared!
